The role includes:

• Contribute to the design and engineering of curtain wall and cladding systems, as well as speciality systems (i.e. structural glass, cables, ETFE etc.)
• Understanding of design and build-ability of façade systems including material knowledge and installation techniques
• Coordinate with other project consultants such as Architects and Builders to determine best practice façade design outcomes
• Provide hand-design sketches, and develop reports for all stages of the project from conception to completion
• Preparation of fee proposals
• Write specifications and respond to site and construction-related queries
• Assist and coordinate with other members of the consulting team in the preparation of project deliverables
• Provide assistance during the construction of façade systems including attendance mock-up testing, shop drawing reviews and conducting factory & site inspections
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members

Qualifications
Skills and Experience

• Master's degree in Architecture (or 5-year equivalent) or Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Significant experience working in the construction industry
• Extensive familiarity with façade systems, façade design, materials and fabrication/manufacture
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to hand sketch for presentation purposes
  Client and team-focused
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes for façades and services
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Planning and organisational skills
• Be flexible to meet the varied demands of the role
