Responsibilities:

• Prepare method statements for installing mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Review construction sequences, interfaces and schedules
• Assist in implementation of specific alignments such as coupling, gear and rotating equipment, for pumps, motors, mixers, etc…
• Prepare and review standard operating procedures
• Prepare and participate to equipment commissioning
• Train future operators on WRP equipment operation and maintenance
• Oversee the installation of mechanical systems
• Conduct commissioning tests to ensure systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.

Requirements

• Have at least a BSc Degree in Mechanical engineering
• Have 10 years total experience, 7 years in similar works
• Have experience on water or wastewater treatment plants
• Overseas experience of large construction projects
• Demonstrate experience on supervision and coordination of the construction of all electromechanical works: pumps, blowers, cranes, valves, agitators, chemical preparation, etc...
• Held similar position in at least 2 previous assignments of similar nature.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts

Job information : this position shall be resident in Ulaanbaatar, with office at construction site 6 km away from city center. This person will be the focal point in WWTP equipment for a team of Mechanical, Piping and HVAC engineers, all of them employed by MCSP and will reports to MCSP Chief Construction Engineer.
