The Marketing & Communication Specialist will work closely with the EGIS team and the Marketing & Communications team to:
• Craft and implement both long term and short term marcomm plans, consisting of a broad array of activities including digital/ print publications, social media, videos, website, newsletters, speaking opportunities, media campaigns, and awards. Media outreach of this role focuses on regional markets.
• Develop an annual editorial calendar mapping key milestones, events, awards and announcements
• Develop media-worthy news, from arranging interviews with industry publications to curating social media content
• Manage the social media platforms of EGIS
• Develop and support the development of video content and communication graphics with the support of in-house graphic/ multimedia designers. Establish and maintain relationships with the media Key Responsibilities Content development
• Strategise, implement and manage editorial calendar
• Coordinate with the necessary teams to identify media worthy content
• Compose and review media kits (write up and visuals)
• Manage the approval process with clients and project teams Digital media: Social media, website
• Strategise the firm’s digital content
• Compose and review digital content across the firm’s social media channels and website
• Obtain respective design partners for digital content approval
• Manage and monitor the firm’s social media channels and website
• Manage and measure engagement Photography
• Coordinate with project teams to understand construction programmes periodically
• Plan and budget for photography of projects accordingly (construction milestones and full completion)
• Coordinate with clients for approval Awards
• Plan and budget for award opportunities
• Coordinate with necessary teams on event/ nomination submission content
• Work on nomination submissions accordingly and work with our graphic designer on visuals Events
• Identify high-level speaking opportunities for spokespeople
• Promote speakers’ personas via social media channels
• Manage and measure engagement Internal and external coordination
• Coordinate with project teams on new/ updated project content
• Obtain approvals from the necessary teams on media content
• Obtain approvals from clients on media content - Flexibility to travel; this position requires some time to be spent in Saudi Arabia and Amman in addition to the UAE - Time management: capable of developing timelines and completing tasks with limited timeframes - Teamwork: capable of working well with others and succeeding in a team environment. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and dynamic environment. - Ability to work in a small, fast-moving team. - A minimum of a bachelor’s degree communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, English, architecture or a creative field is required; - Able to work with initiative and unsupervised - Knowledge of the Middle East market.
Relevant work experience; - Strong written and verbal communication skills & 6+ years of experience - Architectural experience is a must.
