As our Hong Kong office continues to grow, undertaking new projects with some of Asia’s most prestigious and well respected architecture firms and clients, we are seeking an assistant façade consultant to work with our Hong Kong team.
About the Role
The role includes:
· Develop various façade systems tailored to different climates, structural conditions, and design requirements.
· Produce detailed façade system designs based on architectural sketches.
· Collaborate closely with team members to create concept, detailed, and tender packages.
· Continuously develop personal skills in façade design, engineering, and materials.
· Communicate regularly with the project supervisor and design team to ensure project alignment.
· Attend meetings with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide engineering input and feedback.
· Prepare workload forecasts for project supervisor review based on the latest project programme.
Requirements:
Skills and Experience
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in the façade industry.
· Proficient in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
· Excellent written and spoken English.
Requirements (Preferred)
· Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Software (e.g., Strand7, SAP2000).
· Experience in Structural Engineering.
· TCP T3 qualification under the RSE stream.
· Experience in preparing submissions for the Buildings Department is preferred.
· Strong written and spoken communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
· Knowledge of 3D design software (Rhino, CATIA, etc.)
· Familiarity with 3D geometrical analysis tools (Grasshopper, Excel, etc.)
· Proficient in graphic software (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
· Experience with various fundamental engineering software packages
· Engineering degree
