As a CAD Technician you will take the role in the implementation of Digital deliverables, ensuring all outputs are produced to a high standard in accordance with project requirements.
As a CAD Technician you will be an integral member of the team as it grows. You will be required to support the engineering teams in current commissions which may be 2D, 3D or BIM Level 2. We are looking for someone who will take this challenge head on, be part of a dynamic team with big ambitions. We will be looking to provide capabilities across light, heavy and metro rail systems and work alongside developing signalling and track teams.

Essential skills:
BIM Technician with at least a minimum of 3 years’ experience in major infrastructure/transportation projects
Experience of working in an engineering production environment
Railway, transportation or construction background
Experience of delivering projects to UK BIM Standards including BS1192 and ISO 19650
Proficient in using Bentley software including ProjectWise, OpenBuilding Designer and Microstation
Demonstrated experience in leading the technical development of 3D CAD components from conceptual design through to detailed construction models
Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the cohesive development of integrated project deliverables
Good knowledge of UK design standards, such as Network Rail, HS2 and TfL
Experience working with BEPs, Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) and Model Production Delivery Tables (MPDT)
Ability to adapt to new BIM technologies and workflows, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
