The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Systems Design, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, or a related field.
- 10+ years in engineering design, production, and/or review of compliance evidence within regulated industries for major railway and transit projects.
- Client interaction, including face-to-face meetings and leading presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, ACC/BIM360, ProjectWise, Autodesk Civil 3D, and other BIM tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 BIM standards (ISO19650:1, ISO19650:2, ISO19650:3).
- Managing team leaders and senior CAD/BIM staff from various offices and disciplines.
- Knowledge of BIM quality assurance guidelines and standards.
- Support for National/Regional BIM standards and asset management using BIM.
- Experience with rail and transit projects, design automation, and production technology.
- Desirable skills: Power-BI, Dynamo/Python programming, AR/VR experience.
- Proven leadership, management skills, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Adaptability to project and deadline changes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, leadership, and report writing skills.
- Experience in a consulting engineering environment is a plus.
